SCOPE OF WORK

The Intern shall undertake the following activities:

  • Support coordination with CTAF Secretariat in project implementation and communications
  • Support desk research on the Philippine data center, cloud computing, and AI infrastructure market, including relevant policies (e.g., DOST, DOE, DICT) and industry trends.
  • Assist in compiling and organizing a longlist of potential pilot companies (data center operators, cloud service providers, AI solution providers, AI-intensive enterprises).
  • Support desk research on market assessment and policy landscape analysis.
  • Support formatting, referencing, and proofreading of the project deliverables.
  • Assist with logistics for site visits and the stakeholder validation workshop in Manila, including venue/travel coordination as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the EAI-DC Project team, including maintaining a project document filing system and updating the stakeholder contact database.

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate (within the past 12 months) of, a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy/Sustainability, Information Technology, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Genuine interest in climate change, clean energy, digital infrastructure, or AI-related sustainability topics.
  • Strong research, data organization, and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with basic data organization tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small project team.
  • Prior internship, coursework, or project experience related to energy, sustainability, or the private sector is an advantage but not required.
