The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) Communications and Advocacy Officer will be responsible for the quality execution of the organization’s communications strategy, content management, media, and public relations.

The ideal candidate is expected to have a passion for education and community-building. The candidate is also expected to be updated with the latest digital technologies and social media trends and has above-average communication skills.

  • Produce, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, articles, website content, reports, speeches, presentations, social media releases, and other marketing materials that communicate the organization’s activities, products, and services
  • Coordinate with service providers, writers, creatives, photographers, and videographers in producing and distributing content for the organization
  • Organize and coordinate advocacy and marketing events and activities
  • Perform other communications-related tasks as may be assigned by management


  • At least 2 years of work experience in a marketing and comms field, with emphasis on coordination work, project or account management vs actual production work
  • Able to do quality check on written work and with a good eye for visuals
  • Experience in social media management is a big plus
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid mode, with a combination of work from home and face-to-face in Mandaluyong City
  • Willingness to work on a semi-flexible schedule 8 am to 6:30 pm Monday-Friday
