The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) Instructor reports directly to the Technical Training Center Director. The Instructor assists Senior Instructors or Teachers in implementing educational programs, delivering lessons, and supporting students in their learning and development. They work under the guidance of experienced educators to ensure a productive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist senior instructors in preparing and delivering lessons, lectures, and educational materials.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional support or clarification.


  • Help maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment.
  • Supervise students during class, ensuring their safety and participation.


  • Support the implementation of the curriculum, including lesson planning and materials preparation.
  • Collaborate with senior instructors to align teaching strategies with curriculum goals.


  • Assist in grading assignments, tests, and projects.
  • Record and maintain accurate student performance data.


  • Provide guidance and support to students, addressing questions and concerns related to course content and assignments.
  • Encourage student engagement and participation in classroom activities.


  • Assist in managing educational resources, including textbooks, materials, and technology.
  • Help set up and maintain equipment and teaching aids.


  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and subject matter knowledge.
  • Stay informed about best practices in education and teaching methodologies.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining records and using educational technology.

  • Applicants must possess at least an Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics) Degree or BS in Industrial Technology
  • At least two (2) years of industrial work experience
  • At least two (2) years of teaching and facilitation in a school or similar environment
  • Experienced in designing & implementing curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans and evaluation tools
  • Must have strong evidence of achievements and accomplishments in previous work roles
  • Demonstrates maturity and strong Emotional Quotient
