What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage the Maps Operations team to ensure seamless operation of map data, system performance, and timely updates across all locations.
  • Oversee map data management, including sourcing, curating, and updating geospatial data from multiple sources to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and execute the strategy for map operations, including optimizing routing algorithms and working on map updates to ensure real-time accuracy.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align mapping needs with business objectives and drive innovations in map technology.
  • Define KPIs for map performance, monitor, and analyze system metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive the adoption of new mapping tools and technologies that can enhance the user experience and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Maps Operations team, driving a high-performance culture and fostering professional development.
Profile

What You Will Need

  • 10+ years experience in geospatial operations, mapping technology, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of mapping platforms (e.g., Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, TomTom), geospatial data, and map-based systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on operational excellence and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams toward a shared vision.
