Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence Engineer with a passion for renewable energy and data science to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying AI models tailored to the unique challenges of the solar industry. Your work will span across a variety of products and services, including predictive maintenance, energy generation and load forecasting, data forensic analysis, system performance optimization, workforce efficiency analysis, and financial performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Deploy ML/AI Models:
- Design, implement, and deploy machine learning algorithms specifically tailored to the renewable industry. This includes models for predictive maintenance, energy generation and load forecasting, system performance analysis, satellite image analysis, and other related topics.
- Build models that analyze data from solar systems to detect anomalies, predict equipment failures, and optimize energy production.
- Data Analysis and Feature Engineering:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets, including time series electrical ans system data from solar installations, to identify patterns and trends that inform model development.
- Perform feature engineering to improve the accuracy and performance of AI models.
- Advanced Analytics for Solar Systems:
- Develop models for data forensic analysis to understand and prevent accidents within solar installations.
- Implement AI solutions for workforce performance analysis, optimizing O&M teams’ efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create models for cost and profit analysis, providing insights that drive financial optimization for solar projects.
- Integration and Automation:
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI models into our products, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.
- Automate data pipelines and model retraining processes to maintain high accuracy over time.
- Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously monitor the performance of AI models in production, adjusting as necessary to improve accuracy and reliability.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, exploring new techniques that can be applied to our products and services.
- Collaborative Development:
- Work closely with product development team, management, advisor, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Engage in cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative AI-driven solutions that align with Green-Z’s vision and goals.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Maintain thorough documentation of models, algorithms, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility within the team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists.
