Position Summary:
Research Specialist is the core position in Growlab’s laboratory, focusing on the research of efficient micropropagation protocols and plant breeding using advanced plant tissue culture and molecular technologies as well as the application and quality control of those technologies in commercial seedling production. This role is highly important for Growlab R&D and production system, by employing advance technological innovations, involving in the efficient production of elite seedlings for plantation needs, towards the sustainable development of the Vietnamese and worldwide agriculture.
Salary range: Upon negotiation
Key Responsibilities:
• Summarize and report the current research status or updated research innovationsworldwide regarding Tissue culture – Plant Breeding and Development via literaturereviews for R&D purposes.
• Suggest, develop research plans and proposals, and establishing experiments for researchprojects related to plant tissue culture and breeding
• Follow the established micropropagation protocol and conduct quality control of in vitrosamples
• Join with other Growlab members in preparing necessary documents for differentprograms, projects, or contests that Growlab participates.

Qualifications:
• Having a MSc. degree or at least a BSc./Eng. in Biotechnology, Biology, Crop Science… or a related field with experiences in plant research.• Having basic knowledge and technical skills in tissue culture and molecular biotechnology• Having good academic English proficiency
• Ability to work independently and conduct hands-on research• Ability to perform statistical analysis and use Microsoft Offices
• Hardworking, having high responsibility, tidiness, and good problem-solving skills
• Having experience in commercial seedling production is an advantage
