➔ Description of the mission

Position Overview:

The Director of Back Office will be a key leader in our Global market operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of local Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT), and Administrative (Admin) functions. This role requires close collaboration with both the local teams and vertical line departments at the Head Office in Vietnam. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, a strong communicator, and a strategic thinker with experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage back-office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for back-office functions.
  • Oversee financial processes, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies, and legal requirements.
  • Manage administrative and HR functions, including recruitment support, employee records management, and benefits administration.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system efficiencies and ensure data security.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align back-office functions with business objectives.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency.
  • Develop and mentor back-office team members to build a high-performing department.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all communications and collaborations with the headquarters in Vietnam.

➔ Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in back-office operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes, compliance, HR, administration, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and operational efficiency strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and enterprise systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with international teams is a plus.
