ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Managing Director of Social Solutions and Impact Group, you will be responsible for the strategic growth and impact of the company through your leadership of the following divisions:

Technology Solutions, which understands customer needs and drives the development of our product portfolio and roadmap.
Programs and Partnerships, which design our go-to-market programs (both market-based and philanthropic) and form partnerships with key stakeholders (including the Solar Hub Operations Group) to take these programs to rural communities nationwide.
Impact and Sustainability, which measures and communicates our quantitative and qualitative impact while driving additional impact across all sustainability scopes.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a like-minded, like-hearted Managing Director who is passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God and serving off-grid communities nationwide by bringing renewable solutions for their development.

Competencies:

Solid organizational, time management, and project management skills;
Foster and promote business relationships and partnerships with the community;
Passionate about impact-driven actions within an organization
Has proven experience in developing and presenting sustainable business concepts, training, and emerging technologies;
Has extensive knowledge of local, regional, and national emerging sustainable business strategies, ROI analysis, and other key sustainability tools and techniques;
Has the ability to analyze data, evaluate outcomes, and recommend actions;
Has organizational skills, time management skills, project management experience, and priority-setting skills;
Has experience in change management and continuous quality improvement;
Understands cost-benefit analysis in the selection of sustainable business strategies;
Has the ability to construct and direct a network of sustainable business resources;

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Business Administration, or any Social Science;
A master’s degree in Development Studies, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field would be an advantage
Has 10 years of experience in a similar capacity
