Scope of work

The interns shall contribute to UDT’s agenda on inclusive low-carbon mobility by delivering agreed research, advocacy, and communication initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform desktop research on topics and studies on inclusive and sustainable low-carbon transport in Southeast Asian cities;
  • Perform other relevant tasks as required by the Urban Development team.
  • Assist in data organization and documentation of project activities; and
  • Assist in data collection, validation, and stakeholder coordination;
  • Assist in organizing, coordinating, and facilitating capacity-building activities for UDT’s projects, including workshops, training sessions, webinars, online events and face-to-face stakeholder meetings.
Profile

Qualifications

The interns must have the following qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a higher education institution and are preferably doing practicum or doing academic thesis, capstone or dissertation research, preferably in the field of environmental science or management, development communication, development studies, economics, human ecology, geography, data science, and/ or transport disciplines.
  2. At least 21 years old;
  3. In good academic standing;
  4. Must be physically, mentally, and emotionally fit;
  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
