Dear IFSA Family,

Would you like to host the 56th International Forestry Students’ Symposium (IFSS) in 2028? A new opportunity is here: you can now apply to become the Organizing Committee (OC) for IFSS 2028!

IFSS is the most important IFSA event. Their main importance relies on strengthening the link between students from all over the world and hosting the General Assembly. This Symposium is one of the best opportunities for IFSA members to get to know each other and share different perspectives about forestry education while learning about the history, culture, and forestry practices of the hosting country.

Profile

Requirements:

The applicant must be an IFSA Local Committee (IFSA Ordinary member) at the time of the application.

It is possible that LCs partner together to host a meeting. In that case there will be a lead applicant that is going to submit the application and other LCs are listed as co-applicants.
