About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee JUTI’s financial operations and maintain robust accounting systems. This role will be pivotal in setting up and maintaining robust financial and accounting systems and practices, managing budgets, tracking expenditures, and supporting financial planning efforts and delivering financial reports aligned with donor requirements and expectations. This role is critical in ensuring financial transparency, accountability, and compliance with the highest standards for financial management, while supporting our mission-driven work and long-term financial sustainability.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with philanthropic foundations, governments, corporates and non-profit organizations, and is comfortable managing multiple funding sources and meeting diverse funder requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient finance and accounting systems that enhance accuracy and productivity.
- Manage overall financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, general ledger, and supporting documentation.
- Oversee payments, reimbursements, and expense tracking.
- Ensure systems are aligned with best practices and comply with regulatory standards.
- Ensure proper financial segregation across projects, programs, and funding sources.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working collaboratively with department heads to create realistic and achievable budgets.
Donation & Grant Management
- Manage and track all incoming donations, grants, and funding streams.
- Ensure funds are used in accordance with donor agreements and grant conditions.
- Monitor spending against approved budgets for each grant or project.
- Prepare clear and timely financial reports for donors, partners, and grant providers.
- Support financial planning and budgeting for grant proposals.
Monitoring, Reporting, Compliance & Governance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans that support organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor budget performance and provide timely reports on variances to leadership. Analyze expenditure trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare regular financial reports for management, the Board and donors as required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and donor requirements related to foundations and non-profits.
- Support internal and external audits, including donor audits.
- Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting to ensure financial sustainability.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
Systems & Collaboration
- Develop and improve financial systems and processes suitable for a foundation environment.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping of financial data.
- Work closely with program, fundraising, and operations teams to support effective financial planning and reporting.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, policies, and regulations.

Working Arrangement & Compensation
- Position: Full-time
- Group Insurance
- Salary: Up to THB 60,000-80,000 per month, depending on experience
- Location: Hybrid
