What are the key responsibilities of the Agri input Territory Sales Officer

  • Conduct regular market surveys to assess demand trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Actively engage with farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural institutions to understand their input requirements
  • Collect orders for various agri-inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other agricultural products.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain excellent customer service to foster long-term relationships.
  • Oversee sales outlets, including shops or kiosks, within the territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including orders received, deliveries made, and payments collected.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities for management review.
Profile

What are the requirement of the Position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in sourcing or procurement.
  • Proven experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the agriculture sector
  • Knowledge of agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides.
  • Understanding of local agricultural practices, crop cycles, and seasonal demands.
