Description of the mission

Role Description

This is a hands-on execution role at the heart of our product. As Product Management Specialist, you will be deep in the day-to-day work of building, shipping, and refining the agriKredit platform — writing specs, running sprints, testing features, and working directly with institutional partners to turn real-world feedback into working product. You will collaborate closely with the founding team and engineering to keep delivery moving fast and in the right direction.

Write detailed product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria that the engineering team can build to without ambiguity
Manage the product backlog end-to-end — grooming, prioritizing, and sequencing tickets so sprints run smoothly and blockers are cleared quickly
Conduct hands-on user acceptance testing (UAT) of new features before release, documenting bugs and edge cases with precision
Coordinate directly with institutional partners — banks, MFIs, rural credit institutions, agricultural insurers, agri-businesses, and development agencies — to gather structured feedback and translate it into actionable requirements
Build and maintain onboarding materials, product walkthroughs, and client-facing documentation to support partner integration
Monitor platform usage data and SaaS metrics (activation, retention, feature adoption, time-to-value) on an ongoing basis and flag issues proactively
Work hands-on with satellite monitoring outputs and ground-truth farm data to validate data quality and surface insights that inform product decisions
Support go-to-market execution — preparing demo environments, configuring pilot setups, and assisting with partner presentations and product walkthroughs
Maintain the product roadmap as a living document, keeping it updated, communicated, and aligned with partner commitments and development capacity

Profile

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on product management or product specialist experience, with direct involvement in writing specs, managing backlogs, and shipping features in a B2B SaaS environment
Proven ability to write precise, developer-ready product requirements and user stories — you understand what good documentation looks like and why it matters
Comfortable running agile ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives — and keeping delivery cadence tight in a small team
Experienced in conducting structured UAT and working closely with QA or engineering to resolve issues before release
Strong communicator with institutional or enterprise clients — able to run discovery sessions, synthesize feedback, and turn it into clear product direction
Data-literate and comfortable working directly with product analytics tools to track feature performance and flag anomalies
Strong written and spoken English; organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
