JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Staff is responsible for driving sales of the company's diverse range of sustainable event & services to companies, brands, and businesses. This role involves actively generating leads, building strong client relationships, understanding client sustainability needs, and presenting solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively identify and generate new sales leads through various methods, including cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Research and target companies, brands, and businesses that align with our sustainable event offerings.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value and impact of our sustainable event solutions.
- Understand clients' sustainability goals, event objectives, and budget constraints to create tailored event proposals.
- Effectively communicate our unique selling propositions, emphasizing their comprehensive approach to sustainability in events.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients, acting as a trusted advisor on sustainable event strategies.
- Follow up on leads and proposals in a timely and effective manner to close sales.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients.
- Collaborate closely with the project event team to ensure seamless execution of sold events and client satisfaction.
- Work with the Marketing team to provide feedback on marketing materials and identify opportunities for joint efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipelines
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for the Sales Manager.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in sustainability and the event industry.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and generate leads.
- Contribute to the development of new sales strategies and approaches.
