Job Summary

Lead the PR & Sustainability function for L’Occitane Group, driving ESG, CSR, and philanthropy strategies and key contact for all B-Corp-related communications. Plan and execute sustainability communications and PR campaigns to raise awareness and build the group’s strong reputation for sustainability initiatives among internal and external audiences. Support sustainability-related content curation, ensuring consistent engagement with stakeholders to highlight sustainability commitments. Collaborate with regional and central teams to compile and analyze sustainability data & reports across brands. Stay informed on evolving ESG trends and policies, and foster partnerships to enhance community engagement and drive positive impact.

You will play an important role, such as:

  • Lead, coordinate, and manage L’Occitane Group’s multi-brand commitments—Reducing Waste, Caring for Sight, and Preserving Biodiversity— ensuring a cohesive yet distinctive tone of voice tailored to each brand’s identity under the group.
  • Build a best-in-class sustainability share of voice through consistent omni-channel relationships with mainstream press, online media, influencers (KOLs, bloggers, key influencers, socialites, key opinion customers).
  • Thinks creatively to develop fresh, engaging ideas for PR campaigns and sustainability initiatives that drive awareness and enhance the group’s reputation, by executing innovative strategies that resonate with diverse internal and external audiences across all age groups.
  • Builds strong relationships across internal teams, external stakeholders, and partners. Able to foster a collaborative environment for co-creating meaningful sustainability efforts.
  • To drive all the local partnerships with NGOs, corporates & educational organizations
  • Facilitate in the development of sustainable-related presentations, workshops, events and programs for stakeholders
  • Assist in preparation of sustainability report, presentations, infographics, e-newsletters and website updates
  • Maintains a high standard of honesty and ethics in all interactions, with a transparent approach to communication and reporting on sustainability efforts.
  • Undertake others related appropriate task assigned by the HOD
Profile

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

  • Degree in PR, Marketing, Sustainability or any related field.
  • Good written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin is a plus advantages
  • Min 2 years working experience in PR/Social Media/ Marketing/ Sustainability or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge in PR & Marketing with environmental science will be an advantage
  • Excellent planning, organizing, coordination & negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel & Word

  • Able to travel outstation and locally as and when required
  • Possess strong analytical thinking, detail-oriented, conscientious, with the ability to work under tight deadlines while effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities.

Notwithstanding the above, you shall also be required to carry out any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
