Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?
RESPONSIBILTIES
Key responsibilities will include:
- Building a robust pipeline of future Luminate partners and investments in Asia, with specific focus issues on freedom of expression, digital governance, tech policy, and tech accountability.
- Supporting the team and existing partner organizations to monitor activities, performance, and maximize social impact in Luminate’s key areas.
- Monitoring key issues associated with Luminate’s efforts in the region and contribute to Luminate’s Asia strategy development.
Within those key responsibilities, the individual in this role will be expected to focus on:
- Scoping out Luminate opportunities in alignment with Luminate’s strategic goals in the region and priority country
- Reviewing and analysing grant proposals, organization budgets, conducting necessary diligence on prospect opportunities, and making sound decision of opportunities and investment
- Executing grants and investment by processing grants approval and funding process, including preparing all relevant documentations
- Maintaining good relationship with partners and other stakeholders in the ecosystem that Luminate is investing in.
- Monitoring news, policy development, and ecosystem development connected to Luminate’s strategic goals and report back to the team, as appropriate.
- Contributing to Luminate’s Asia strategy by collecting and communicating insights, evidence, data, and strategic reflections, both at the country and regional level
