Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Operations Excellence

  • Perform shift responsibilities and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the park, including queue and crowd management, and ensuring park cleanliness
  • Ensure delivery of excellent guest experience, including management of guest feedback on-ground and closing service lapses
  • Manage incidents and raise incident reports as required
  • Review, propose and execute ideas to aid in improvements on park-related and guest experience matters
  • Assist and coordinate in wildlife management effort

Adventure

  • Facilitate in the management of Adventure facility vendor to ensure safe and smooth operations, including collating and reviewing reports.
  • Ensure safe work practices are carried out.

Staff and Vendor Management

  • Assist in staff and vendor management, including manpower planning/ deployment, training and performance reporting.

Others

  • Drive and support initiatives to achieve the organization’s strategic goals, as directed.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
Profile
  • Diploma or Degree in tourism/ hospitality management and/ or outdoor adventure learning.
  • At least 2 years of experience in adventure-related industry, preferably with experience in leadership.
  • Rope access and rope rescue certification will be valued competency.
  • Pleasant, courteous, and confident disposition.
  • Strong communication skills with good command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent team player who can also work independently.
  • Resourceful self-starter with a keen work attitude, good with time management and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Able to work on weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
