The role of Senior Manager, Talent Management & Development is responsible for overseeing and executing talent management and development strategies that attract, develop, retain, and engage high-performing employees within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, Design, and Deliver training on effectively utilizing the Potential Assessment Form to identify and evaluate employee potential, ensuring clear communication of the process and its application.
- Collect, Compile and Create comprehensive presentations for talent discussions, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals.
- Create, Coordinate, and Communicate development programs for nominated talents and successors, including tracking progress, promotion outcomes, and success rates.
Talent Management and Succession Planning
- Leverage TM tools and systems to execute the Talent Management Strategy and succession planning initiatives.
- Lead periodic talent reviews to drive talent identification, development of individual development plans (IDPs), and alignment with target roles.
- Facilitate the alignment of talent with organizational opportunities, ensuring effective placement and career progression.
- Support the talent sourcing strategy and employer branding initiatives to enhance the WRS brand, attract top talent, and improve employee retention and employer attractiveness.
- Manage talent data and conduct research to drive best practices in People and Talent management, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
Talent Development
- Drive the implementation of the Talent Development Framework aligned with leadership competencies, business goals, and future-readiness strategies, preparing employees for advancement to higher-level roles.
- Develop and manage tracking mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of talent development initiatives.
- Identify, select, and manage external vendors to deliver high-impact leadership development programs, ensuring quality and relevance to organizational needs.
- Oversee the annual Talent budget and KPIs, ensuring resource allocation is optimized and financial targets are met while driving the achievement of talent development objectives.
- Lead Talent Data Analytics to identify skill gaps, analyse trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance talent development strategies and strengthen organizational capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management, Training, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or a related field (or equivalent qualifications).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Project Management, with a proven ability to drive successful initiatives.
- Certification in Psychometric Assessments and Competency Frameworks is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, executing, and facilitating talent identification and succession planning programs, with a focus on leadership development and organizational growth.
- Proficient in Talent Data Analytics, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and across different functions, coupled with a high level of organizational awareness.
- Strong project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of results.
