Job Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director and the PR and Marking agency in developing a roadmap for effective marketing and promotion of the museum and its programs.
• Collaborate with the Director to establish partnerships with local communities, organizations, and stakeholders.
• Work with the Assistant Director, the Curator, and other museum staff to ensure communications align with the museum’s goals for each program.
• Craft compelling narratives and messages for diverse audiences.
• Build strong relationships with media outlets to secure media coverage.
• Collaborate with the PR and Marketing agency to create press releases and organize press conferences, exhibition openings, and other promotional events.
• Develop and manage social media platforms, creating promotional content related to the museum’s programs.
• Handle public inquiries with utmost professionalism, ensuring prompt and effective responses.
• Manage adverse situations and communicate effectively during crises.
