The Marc Klok Foundation is a non-profit initiative founded by professional footballer Marc Klok. Our mission is to empower youth through football, education, and community-based programs. We believe in creating equal opportunities for young people to grow, learn, and lead, both on and off the field.
Our work focuses on grassroots football development, scholarship support, and social initiatives that inspire long-term positive change in local communities across Indonesia.
As a Social Media Intern at the Marc Klok Foundation, you will be responsible for supporting the foundation’s online presence, campaign engagement, and content storytelling through digital platforms. This includes developing creative content, managing posts, engaging with the audience, and assisting with broader communication strategies. You will play a vital role in building brand visibility and digital outreach for our community programs.
This position reports directly to the Project Manager and will collaborate closely with program and field teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in developing and executing social media content calendars across platforms
• Create, edit, and publish engaging digital content, including images, videos, reels, and stories.
• Collaborate with field teams to capture moments from community programs, events, and activities.
• Monitor social media engagement and respond to audience interactions in a timely and positive manner.
• Support campaign strategies for fundraising, program launches, and awareness days.
• Provide weekly reports on growth, reach, and engagement.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and digital campaign planning.
• Ensure brand consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across all online channels.
• Stay updated with social media trends, youth culture, and best practices in digital storytelling.
• Assist in preparing communication materials such as decks, newsletters, and donor updates.
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a university program in Communications, Public Relations, Visual Design, International Relations, or a related field.
• Strong interest in youth development, football, and community empowerment.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, or basic design/video editing tools.
• Active and passionate about social media trends and digital culture.
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with functional English proficiency.
• Creative thinker with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Previous experience with NGOs, student organizations, or campaigns is a plus.
