Role Description

The Events and Partnerships Officer will help accelerate the mission of Masungi Georeserve Foundation by creating, growing, and managing programs that increase visitation and collaboration with target segments assigned to him or her. Sample target markets include corporates, schools, weddings and special events, and foreign markets.

Research and Education

• Creation of content, spiels, activities, programs and experiences inside the georeserve and constantly updating and improving them

• Spearheading research and development initiatives with experts and scientists

• Creating, prototyping and implementing additional programs/events/experiences for outdoor learning for students guests, and the public

Events and Partnerships

• Lead Garden Picnic operations and oversee all aspects of experiences, from design and development to execution and guest engagement.

• Designing, managing and implementing events and partnerships

• Drive growth among assigned target markets through clearly identified strategies

• Continuously improve products and experiences catered to assigned target markets

• Other tasks as may be assigned by the Board of Trustees

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Tourism or Science related background
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Entrepreneurial and creative mindset
  • Relevant experience in sales, accounts management, or events
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Enjoys working in the outdoors and natural environment since many events are held outdoors
  • Must possess an understanding and appreciation of the Philippines' unique environmental conservation realities
