Why We Are Hiring

As Masungi continues to expand its conservation initiatives, partnerships, and public engagement efforts, we are looking for an Events and Partnerships Officer who can help build meaningful relationships with partners, coordinate impactful events, and ensure seamless collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders. This role plays a key part in advancing Masungi's mission through strategic partnerships and well-executed programs.

You will work closely with:

  • Conservation and Community Affairs Teams
  • Operations and Ranger Teams
  • Finance and Administrative Teams
  • Communications and Advocacy Teams
  • Trustees and Leadership Team
  • Corporate, Institutional, and Community Partners
  • Event Suppliers, Service Providers, and Collaborators
  • Through this role, you will help create partnerships and experiences that support conservation, community development, and environmental stewardship.

  • Designing, managing and implementing events and partnerships
  • Drive growth among assigned target markets through clearly identified and creative strategies
  • Create and continuously improve products and experiences for target markets
  • Other tasks as may be assigned by the management

Qualifications

  • Graduate of environmental science, forestry, development communications or related coursework
  • Physically fit to hike and enjoys working outdoors
  • Superior communications and external relations skills
  • Keen to work for sustainability and environment conservation
  • Leadership, adaptability, independence, and resourcefulness
  • The role is best for those with 0-3 years of experience
