Role Overview

We are looking for a Tourism Officer with strong project management, leadership, and communication skills to support and lead tourism, guest operations, and learning and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and organize learning and development programs for rangers, including training and capacity-building activities.
  • Support geotourism and hospitality management initiatives.
  • Facilitate and oversee guest operations for the Night Trail and other tourism-related activities.
  • Manage projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of programs.
  • Build and maintain external relations with partners, communities, government agencies, tourism stakeholders, and other relevant organizations.
  • Take on other related duties and projects by the managing trustee

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in tourism, project management, program coordination, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing projects from planning through implementation.
  • Preferably with experience or academic background in ecotourism, biology, environmental science, environmental education, or related fields.
  • Experience in hospitality, conservation, community engagement, or nature-based tourism is an advantage.
  • Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working across operational and external-facing functions.
