Phoenix Communications is a dynamic media and consulting company behind NOW! Jakarta and NOW! Bali. Beyond publishing, our MVB Sustainability Division has been successfully delivering sustainability consulting services for the past 3 years, particularly in the hospitality and tourism sectors. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our expanding team.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant to support and lead various projects focused on improving environmental and social practices within hotels, restaurants, apartments, parks, and tourism destinations.

In this role, you will:

Develop and implement tailored sustainability strategies for clients
Conduct ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) assessments and gap analyses
Evaluate environmental impact and operational performance
Recommend practical improvements aligned with best practices and international standards (e.g., GSTC, ISO 14001, EarthCheck, GRI)
Prepare reports, presentations, and sustainability roadmaps
Coordinate with client teams and stakeholders for implementation
Stay updated on national and international sustainability regulations and trends

➔ Profile

We are looking for candidates who have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Social Studies or a related field
Practical knowledge of environmental and social sustainability principles, standards, and policies
Strong project management and data analysis skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
Relevant certifications (e.g., LEED, GSTC, ISO 14001, or similar) are a plus
