Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in management, natural resources management, integrated community development, or a relevant field;
Work History:
- At least working experience in natural resource management, community organizing, and working with NGOs for 4 years
- Relevant experience in NGO project management, community-based programming, and indigenous peoples’ rights for at least 4 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Ability to prepare project reports on a regular basis in Khmer/English (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
- Significant experience in staff management and project management
- Proven skills in community participatory approaches, managing trainings and facilitation, and advocacy
- Knowledge of land law, forestry law, indigenous rights, and natural resources management or related fields
- Ability to use GIS programs
- A strong track record in open and transparent financial management
- Effective verbal, listening, communication, facilitation, and team-building skills
- Good command of English and Khmer (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Good computer application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and data tools)
- Strong experience in child rights programming, climate change, gender, advocacy, and participatory approaches
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality reports in Khmer and English (monthly, quarterly, annual, and donor reports)
- Demonstrated staff management, coordination, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Cambodian laws related to land, forestry, indigenous peoples, child protection, and decentralization
- Strong financial oversight, transparency, and accountability skills
- Excellent communication, facilitation, team-building, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong commitment to MVi’s vision, mission, and values, including gender equity and promotion of indigenous peoples’ and children’s rights.
