The National University of Singapore is looking for a Lab Technician to work in an ongoing research project investigating plant-microbe-environment associations. The applicant will be working in a multidisciplinary, collaborative team environment with strong industry exposure.

The Main Responsibilities Of The Positions Include

Care and maintenance of plants and hydroponic systems in mostly indoor settings
General assistance with experimental planning, sample preparation, and documentation
Evaluation of experimental results, reporting findings and discussing project outcomes with staff involved.
Other duties to support research activities should they arise, such as:
Microbiology
Analytical chemistry

Qualifications

Diploma in Agriculture, Life Sciences or relevant area
Experience working with plants such as in research, industrial (agriculture), or social enterprise settings.
