Profile

The National University of Singapore is looking for a Lab Technician to work in an ongoing research project investigating plant-microbe-environment associations. The applicant will be working in a multidisciplinary, collaborative team environment with strong industry exposure.

The Main Responsibilities Of The Positions Include

  • Care and maintenance of plants and hydroponic systems in mostly indoor settings
  • General assistance with experimental planning, sample preparation, and documentation
  • Evaluation of experimental results, reporting findings and discussing project outcomes with staff involved.
  • Other duties to support research activities should they arise, such as:
  • Microbiology
  • Analytical chemistry

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Agriculture, Life Sciences or relevant area
  • Experience working with plants such as in research, industrial (agriculture), or social enterprise settings.
