Program Deltaccelerate Overview

With the sponsorship of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Business Partnerships Platform, the Women Agribusiness Climate Change Adaptation Acceleration Program, (i.e. Deltaccelerate program) aimed to foster the region's climate change adaptation capabilities and boost the competitiveness of businesses, particularly women-led entrepreneurs or women-focused businesses. New Energy Nexus Vietnam will implement the program, spanning a duration of two years from 2024 to 2025, involving training and non-repayable financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the agricultural sector in the Mekong Delta. The support is designed to assist in business management and adaptation to climate change, with a focus on women.

We are looking for a part-time Intern based in Mekong Delta or HCMC to support our activities. The position will support the Program Manager, Project Lead, and other team members in different activities to ensure the successful implementation of the program and report directly to Project Lead.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Events organization and Program implementation

  • Assist Deltacclerate team (team) with planning, implementing before and during the course of organized events as assigned
  • Attend internal and external meetings with the team and write minutes of meetings (if required)
  • Teamwork to brainstorm new ideas, contribute ideas for event planning & organizing, and program development (surveys, workshops, training courses, events...)

Marketing and Communication

  • Supporting in creating diverse marketing content including invitations, press releases, newsletters, social media posts, email marketing, etc
  • Help team with the preparation and production of marketing products: invitations, press releases, newsletters, email
  • Contribute and take initiative to propose creative ideas to increase the effective communication of the program
  • Support the team in managing groups, channels of program supporters and participants

Others

  • Research on any subject matter that is relevant in response to work demand
  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Program Manager and/or Project Lead

The position will be part-time (30 hours per week) and based in Mekong Delta (online or as Project Lead request) or HCMC (working at New Energy Nexus Viet Nam office). The internship program will last for 3 months ideally.

The Intern will have great opportunities to work and learn in an exciting environment with a global team and women-led entrepreneurs that have positive impacts on climate adaptation and agribusiness in Mekong Delta. Besides, the Intern will receive a monthly allowance during this period.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Communicational English
  • Passionate about women-led entrepreneurs, climate adaptation
  • Final-year student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and fast-moving, highly self-disciplined to work in a global team with different locations and time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with organizing events and implementing event marketing activities
  • Create visually engaging marketing materials, including images, videos, infographics
  • Highly creative person with the ability to come up with new ideas and concepts to design the program activities
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Be able to work with an open mind and flexibility
