Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?
NIRAS is a multi-disciplinary engineering company with a strong footprint in Offshore Wind in Europe and Asia-Pacific. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Environmental team in the Philippines with an interest to work with our Offshore Wind and renewable energy practice to further our activities in the Philippines jointly with our team in Manila and Taiwan.
You have more than eight years’ experience of working in the environmental sector in the Philippines delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (ECC), Environmental Social Impact Assessments or other environmental consents for projects in the Philippines and looking to expand your career into the Marine Environment sector with a strong focus on Offshore Wind.
The role will work from our office in Manila and report to our Offshore Wind hub in Taipei, Taiwan and work closely with our colleagues in the United Kingdom and Denmark.
Role and Responsibility:
(1) Leading Environmental and or consenting projects
(2) Project management of environmental and consenting projects
(3) Authoring and quality assurance of technical reports in English and / or Tagalog
(4) Quality Assurance and management of suppliers
(5) Stakeholder and client engagement;
(6) Managing financials (within budget) delivery of projects
(7) Working across with environmental experts in NIRAS (Scandinavia, UK, Taiwan)
(8) Key account management and marketing of the business to existing and potential clients
