Description of the mission

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Project Implementation and Monitoring
  • School Projects: Conduct monthly follow-ups and provide updates after the main team's departure.
  • NRCS: Manage all aspects including surveys, distribution, school reporting, and budget tracking.
  • Projects (HWT/UV): Oversee projects from start to finish, including surveys, pre-checks, material ordering, wood checking, official handover, and project auditing.
  • New Initiatives: Implement new projects designed to benefit the local community.
  • Coordination and Communication
  • Team Coordination: Act as a central coordinator for various team activities.
  • Local Relations: Maintain good communication and relationships with officials at the Village and District levels, as well as with School administrators.
  • Meetings: Prepare bi-weekly meeting minutes.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly reports detailing completed HWT, UV systems, NRCS activities, and any other new projects.
  • Staff Matters: Handle various project staff issues, including leave applications, carpenter management, allowance processing, and general troubleshooting.
  • Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of tools, dorms, and vehicles.

Languages:

  • English - Basic

Skills & Knowledge: General & Technical Skills

  • Mobility: Able to drive a car or motorbike to project sites in the field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in basic English and computer skills.
