Description of the mission

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop data analytics scripts to support audit planning and execution
Perform audit analytics (e.g. exception testing, trend analysis, anomaly detection) across large datasets
Automate recurring audit procedures and controls testing
Support continuous auditing and monitoring initiatives
Collaborate with Internal Auditors to translate audit objectives into data analytics use cases
Validate data integrity and document audit analytics methodologies and results
Maintain and enhance audit analytics tools, scripts, and dashboards
You will report directly to the Internal Audit Assistant Director and assist in leveraging data analytics and automation to review, enhance, and optimize the company’s audit processes, procedures, and systems

Profile

Job Holder Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field
Experience: Experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance analytics, proficiency in Power BI (including DAX and Power Query M). Experience with Python, SQL, and/or VBA is an added advantage
Hands-on experience working with databases and large datasets
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Familiarity with audit analytics and visualization tools (e.g. ACL, IDEA, Power BI, Tableau)
Knowledge of process automation techniques (e.g. RPA, macros, workflow automation)
Understanding of data governance, data integrity, and access control practices
