Principal responsibilities:

  • To lead administrative tasks related to office maintenance/utilities, registration, visa, travel arrangement, legal issues, and record keeping;
  • To prepare official letters and monthly reports for submission to external organizations including the government counterparts and donors;
  • To translate and interpret from and into Thai and English
  • To prepare monthly financial documents including making voucher sheets and other financial transactions;
  • To ensure that all regular office expenses are paid in an appropriate and timely fashion;
  • To procure office items and project goods/services according to PWJ Procurement Policy;
  • To perform any other administrative and finance tasks as assigned by international staff.
Profile

Knowledge, skills, attitudes and experience required:

  • University degree with a minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in a similar position, preferably with foreign firms/organizations;
  • Native level skills in Thai language(both written and speaking) and excellent command of English (both written and speaking) are required. Knowledge of Burmese will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience with financial auditing is desirable;
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media applications;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team as well as to work independently with minimum supervision;
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy;
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters and security issues;
  • High ethics and motivation to work in the humanitarian field;
  • Readiness to comply with all laws and PWJ rules and regulations.
