
The successful candidate will focus on Business Development and Commercial activities, primarily in partner engagement and market research and assessment, to support the growth of the company’s geothermal base business and other renewable energy projects as they transition from exploration into the development phase.
The Role
- Monitors and tracks partners engagement activities, facilitates meetings, and prepares materials for external sharing such as Information Memorandum, and others
- Plans, coordinates, and executes site visits to key locations to support viability assessment of new and existing technologies for power plants, acid mitigation, descaling solutions, and others
- Supports the development and evaluation of partnership structure options for geothermal and other renewable energy projects
- Conducts evaluations of new project ventures and provides support for internal ad hoc projects
- Performs market scans using established sources, including accessing and downloading price and WESM market data through tools such as NEO, and provides market or industry insights
- Supports the development of the company's long-term strategic plans, short- to medium-term business plans, and annual goals and objectives
- Understands key insights from Decision Analysis (DA) modeling and evaluation and conducts modeling and evaluation for projects/analyses of low complexity
