The Associate, Programmes role would be attached under our organisation Ratio Cause reporting to the Programme Manager and support in advocating and creating impact for various social issues through leading the development and curation of programmes,interventions and initiatives aligned to the organisation’s goals and objectives.

This role includes but is not limited to developing and strategizing programmes as well as planning through the on-ground research and findings, implement, monitor and report the execution of the programmes.

The Associate, Programmes also provides input for the knowledge production, creative development, operations plan, including budget, and prepares inputs for projects and programmes for reporting.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Relevant experience managing local/national campaigns or programmes and with management techniques and methods;
Creative, proactive and able to think outside of the box in curating strategies and developing solutions
Relevant experience with performance techniques and key metrics, reporting and budgeting
Fluency in written & oral English & Malay; fluency in other languages is a bonus
Acute attention to detail;
Excellent organisational and leadership skills with great problem solving abilities;
Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate complex sensitive social ideas to engage with a wide range of audiences and effectively report to the management team and partners;
High levels of self-motivation and self-management;ability to plan and conduct work with minimal supervision;
Experience with digital storytelling and video production is a bonus but not a necessity;
Experience in digital communication/social media is a plus
Experience, knowledge and passion in areas of social change and development, migration, sustainability, human rights and youth issues are desirable;
Flexible with travelling outstation and overseas if needed.
