Profile

As a Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing greenhouse gas (GHG) baseline development and verification projects for clients in various industries according to client requirements and accepted international and local standards. You are a technical expert who shares our vision and passion for helping our clients be successful. You are self-motivated, coachable, growth-oriented individual who can build client relationships, successfully, manage complex projects and teams, and identify business opportunities with existing and new clients. You will work closely with clients in a strategic partnership supported by a foundation of authentic communication, personal ownership, and accountability.

You will have at least 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, climate change or a related industry position. Within the Climate Change domain, you will be responsible for supporting PwC firm in client pursuits and project delivery in Climate-related services.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Detailed Knowledge of Climate Change Issues: Understanding of climate change impacts, mitigation strategies, and global/regional climate policies.
  • Familiarity with SBTi Methodologies, CDP, TCFD, ISSB: Knowledge of key frameworks and standards for climate-related disclosure and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Accounting and Reporting: Experience with carbon footprinting, lifecycle assessments, and GHG Protocol standards.
  • Strong Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization to derive insights from complex data sets.
  • Technical Writing Skills: Ability to synthesize information and draft high-quality reports.
  • Project Management and Coordination Skills: Capability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work professionally.
  • Experience in Carbon Accounting and Measurement Techniques: Proficiency in calculating Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions and conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).
  • Experience in Carbon Markets: Involvement in compliance or voluntary emissions trading schemes and advising on carbon credit projects.
  • Conducting Climate Risk Assessment and Scenario Analysis: Embedding climate change within risk management frameworks and strategic planning.
  • Education/ Qualifications: Academic background in environmental science, engineering, economics, or quantitative finance, with expertise in financial (ESG) topics.
