Essential Functions:
The Manager for Data for Decision-Making reports to the Director for Science and Marine Governance and will be responsible for:
- In collaboration with Philippines and global teams, develop, test, and execute strategies to improve comprehensiveness and quality of data collection.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues with multiple data sources, data streams, and data sets.
- Foster a learning culture by leading data analysis to derive actionable insights for Rare and its partners.
- Create intuitive data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for program design, implementation, and policy advocacy.
- Oversee Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities including donor reporting, in collaboration with the Global MEL director.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance data literacy.
- Manage Associates for Data and Research.
