The Opportunity

You already understand agriculture. Now use that knowledge to help build a new climate industry.As our Business Development Associate – Cambodia, you will build relationships with agricultural businesses, producers, project partners, and other stakeholders while developing opportunities in carbon removal, biochar, and climate finance.

This role sits at the intersection of agriculture, climate technology, and commercial development. You will work closely with our technical, operations, and commercial teams to turn agricultural opportunities into viable projects and partnerships, with meaningful ownership of Cambodia's business development activities.

What You'll Do

Build relationships with agricultural producers, agribusinesses, plantations, and potential project partners.
Identify and develop new commercial and project opportunities.
Participate in client and partner meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Translate technical concepts around carbon removal, biochar, and MRV into clear value propositions.
Develop proposals, pitch decks, and client-ready materials with our technical and operations teams.
Own and manage a pipeline of prospects and partnership opportunities.
Represent Reclimate professionally with local and international stakeholders.

Profile

What We're Looking For

2–5 years of experience in agriculture, plantations, agribusiness, or a related sector.
Strong familiarity with Cambodia's agricultural sector and relevant professional networks.
Commercial, sales, partnership, or client-facing experience is an advantage. We also welcome agricultural professionals looking to transition into climate-tech.
Strong interest in climate technology and sustainable solutions for agriculture and waste management.
Able to engage with technical information and communicate it clearly to non-technical audiences.
Proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup.
Strong spoken and written English and Khmer. Additional languages are a plus.
Comfortable using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and digital collaboration tools.
