The Red Pencil (Singapore) (https://redpencil.org/singapore/), a registered charity, is pleased to announce an internship opportunity in our Programmes department. Our organisation is committed to bringing the benefits of creative arts therapy to less privileged children, adults, and families who have experienced overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence, and abuse, for which they may have no words.

As an intern at The Red Pencil, you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience and make a significant contribution to our mission of serving the less privileged in our community. Our internships will offer a challenging and meaningful work experience, providing them with the opportunity to develop skills while making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Programmes Intern to join our team and support the Programmes and Administration department.

Job Type: Paid Full-time Internship, Entry Level / Junior Executive

Job Period: Immediate Start, for at least 3 months

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with research for art therapy programmes
  • Support with procurement of art materials and inventory
  • Assist with data entry, processing, and compilation for our reports
  • Assist with office administration tasks such as centre upkeep
  • Other administrative duties as necessary

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Possesses experience in research
  • Skills in prioritisation and organisation
  • Observes work ethics
  • Proactive, independent and self-motivated
  • Team player
  • Those who require work permit need not apply

We are looking for full-time interns that can accommodate the following schedule:

  • Office days at 82 Redhill Lane, Singapore: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
  • Work-from-home days: Tuesday & Friday
