About the Role

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer will be a cross-team guiding force behind measuring Resolve’s impact as we execute our 2025-2027 Strategy. This role is squarely focused on ensuring our impact measurement framework remains robust and responsive to our strategic goals through the end of the strategy period. You will translate complex data into compelling stories of change, ensuring accountability to our stakeholders and funders. You will foster a reflective organizational culture committed to learning, and support team members to better track their own impact data.

Key Job Duties

  • Maintain and update the impact measurement framework to align with the 2025-2027 Strategy, integrating new data indicators into our internal dashboards and CRM.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Lead the analysis of impact data to inform strategic decision-making and produce high-quality reports for internal learning and external sharing.
  • Funder Compliance: Support reporting commitments by providing quality control to teams to ensure accurate impact data to fulfill grant requirements.
  • Capacity Building: Provide guidance, best practice and recommendations for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) adaptations at the programmatic levels.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Resolve’s impact journey at public events and workshops, serve as an ambassador at key events and functions.
  • 10-Year Milestone: Support the Community Changemaker Fellowship team in their creation of a learning journal to reflect on a decade of running the program.
  • Strategy Development: Review results of our current Strategy, and lead in the implementation of a new Community Scorecard process and publication of findings as we develop 2028-2030 Strategy.
  • Communication: Leverage qualitative information, storytelling and data visualization to help Resolve talk about its impact to different audiences, in collaboration with communications staff.

Profile

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • At least two years of working experience in a related field, nonprofit / social impact experience not a must but valued.
  • Proven ability to manage and visualize organizational impact data using relevant tools.
  • Intrapreneurial mindset and initiative to improve how impact data is managed, while also in alignment with previous systems for longitudinal tracking.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex data insights to diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Chinese proficiency is a plus but not a requirement for this role
  • Already has permission to work in Hong Kong and strong familiarity with the nuances of the Hong Kong landscape, especially in relation to the social sector.
  • Proficiency in key software is required for the role, including AI, Microsoft Office, Google platform, e-conference platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams and CRM.
