Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?

Our work is structured around three global programmes: our international Sustainable Rice for All, Cocoa & Coffee and Good Food 4 Cities programmes.
• Ensure the efficient and effective management, coordination, and implementation of ongoing and emerging rice intervention programmes and projects in collaboration with partners.
• Facilitate the dissemination and integration of rice interventions’ achievements into the design and implementation of Rikolto in Vietnam’s strategic planning and development.
• Contribute to Rikolto in Vietnam’s fundraising efforts, and coordinate food-systemrelated interventions and projects when funding is secured.
• Lead and coordinate, in collaboration with the Rice Programme Manager and Regional Rice Programme Director, the strategic reflection and planning of Rikolto’s intervention strategies and rice programme.
• Coordinate regional-level actions to promote exchanges, upscale of Rikolto’s core businesses and values, leading to structural changes at regional level
1. Programme management and coordination
• Manage the LCF (Low-Carbon Rice) project interventions and activities, and coordinate with colleagues to implement other projects.
• Coordinate projects, including, for instance, to manage, supervise the project team and monitoring/evaluation of progress.
• Develop, align and adjust project strategies and policies to ensure alignment with Rikolto’s global strategies and policies, particularly the objectives set for the international Rice cluster.
• Be responsible for relationship management with partners and external stakeholders (companies, service providers, government agencies, networks, donors, and other development actors) relevant to the project.
• Collaborate with and assist research partners, interns, and volunteers in conducting research activities, including coaching, training, feedback and information sharing, facilitating administrative procedures for fieldwork data collection, and organizing and monitoring research implementation processes.
• Manage Unit Team leaders and staff in conducting intervention activities/projects within the rice programme’s scope.
• Liaise with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer and the Programme Team for the integration of intervention learnings in periodic programme reviews and planning activities.
• Guide, supervise and follow up project staff to measure, monitor, analyse, document and communicate the outcomes of the intervention as evidence for upscaling as well as aligning with Rikolto’s development strategy.
• Lead the development of inclusive business relationship as a core value of Rikolto in Vietnam.
2. Fundraising and communication
• Collaborate with the Communications Officer on the development of intervention-related communication outputs, such as publications, policy briefs, case studies, newspaper articles, website articles, blog posts and social media posts
• At least Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. agriculture, sociology, economics, rural development, food systems or equivalent). An MSc degree in a relevant domain is a strong asset.
• Substantial knowledge and expertise in rice value chains, inclusive business, governance, and climate change-related issues.
•At least 8 years of experience working in value chain development and development programme in the rice sector.
• Proven experience working in Vietnam with a variety of stakeholders (i.e. farmers, government, private sector, etc.), with a leadership role in programme management.
• Experience with writing high-level publications in English, including journal papers, grants, and reports
