Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?
The Programs Assistant will support the planning, implementation, and management of programs, with a particular focus on facilitating food distribution, overseeing disaster response efforts, and supporting livelihood initiatives. This role requires an individual who can effectively handle end-to-end processes, from coordination, to monitoring, and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiates the planning and coordination of food distribution efforts including the tracking and monitoring of the distribution progress.
- Support the implementation of disaster response activities in affected areas.
- Assist with assessing needs and preparing rapid response plans.
- Support the coordination of livelihood initiatives, including training, resource distribution, and monitoring of beneficiaries' progress.
- Collaborate closely with partner LGUs, NGOs, the private sector and other professional associations to ensure timely execution of activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure alignment across all programs and activities.
- Assist in reporting and documentation of program outcomes, challenges, and successes.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- This is a regular, full-time position.
- Frequent site visits within Metro Manila and neighboring provinces will be required.
