KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but will not be limited to the following:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the RSPO Secretariat and Overseas Branch consolidated monthly management and financial reports in accordance with the MFRS.
- Review and approve journal entries raised by the Finance Executives. To ensure all journal posting/ transaction matching are completed in a timely manner and accurately captured in Financial Force.
- Reviewing suppliers’ invoices (PIN) and PIN for staff claims with all relevant supporting documents including contract or approved quotation.
- Review payments in the system to ensure payments are done in the timely manner
- Review monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Accounts Payable aging, Bank Reconciliations, Intercompany Reconciliation, and PL analysis. Ensure all required month end reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner for monthly management reporting.
- Assist in the monitoring, coordination, preparation and analysis of the annual budget for the RSPO Secretariat and Overseas Branches.
- Assist with tax compliance, including annual corporate income tax preparation. Support indirect tax reporting such as Withholding Tax and Sales and Service Tax.
- Assist in the yearly financial audit (i.e. review and preparation of audit schedules, responding to audit queries) and support periodic internal audits.
- Manage the performance, provide guidance and identify competency development of direct reports.
- To maintain the accounting system, Financial Force, and ensuring that it is kept current and updated, and to identify potential areas for change or enhancement.
- Assist in Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) monthly management and financial reporting in accordance with MFRS
- Apart from the duties stated above, to perform any duty or duties reasonably assigned.
