➔ Description of the mission

As the Sustainability Officer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating sustainability initiatives across the organization, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and advancing the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. The role will involve strategic planning, data collection and reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to embed sustainable practices into the company’s operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Lead the development, implementation, and execution of the company’s sustainability and ESG strategy, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals.
  • Consolidate, analyze and monitor ESG data, including carbon emissions, environmental impact, and overall ESG performance for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and publish the company’s annual Sustainability Report in accordance with international standards (e.g., GRI, TCFD) and regulatory requirements.
  • Review, assess, and manage ESG risks, including climate-related risks and conduct environmental impact assessments to identify opportunities for improvement in energy efficiency and emissions reduction.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., fleet, operations, business development) to embed sustainability into core business practices.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives focused on sustainable operations and decarbonization.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including customers, regulators, and industry groups, to ensure compliance with environmental laws, align with global sustainability trends, and enhance stakeholders’ awareness of the company’s ESG initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science/Studies, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Post Qualified Experience of about 3 years of relevant experience in the fields of sustainable development, carbon management, or carbon management.
