Join us as a Marketing Intern (Sustainability) to make an impact!

You will join the Sustainability Business team, part of Energy Management in East Asia and Japan, who enable Schneider Electric customers to decarbonize their operations and achieve their sustainability commitments.

Location: Kallang

Mission (About The Role)

  • You will join the Marketing team that serves as the face of Sustainability Business division, coordinating and producing all materials representing the business; to build awareness of our brand, promoting the services we offer, and providing engagement in public and private forums.
  • The role will enable you to contribute to increasing brand awareness, generating leads, improving customer engagement, boosting sales, and expanding market share.

What will you do?

  • Developing tools and methods for collecting data such as surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires
  • Researching customer opinions and marketing strategies and proposing adjustments to current strategies accordingly
  • Collecting and analyzing data to identify market trends, customer needs and expectations
  • Monitoring and managing the company’s social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Creating graphic representations of data and translating complex research into easily readable content for stakeholders and other departments
  • Prepare promotional presentations
  • Preparing marketing proposals and presentations based on Sales/Business Development needs
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Help organize marketing events
  • Help distribute marketing materials
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
Profile

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Education: Pursuing a degree in Marketing / Communications / Politics / Economics / Business related or similar
  • Skills/Systems Knowledge:
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools
  • Aptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and process information
  • Ability to translate complex research into common language
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
