  • Location: Phnom Penh (Cambodia) with the possibility to travel in provinces of Cambodia

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sevea dedicates itself to enhancing the expertise and skills of consultants and engineers who join us. Responsibilities will vary based on experience levels, with interns working under the guidance of Consultants or Project Managers to explore and develop their consulting and engineering capabilities. They will assist in diverse missions, including sectorial studies, market assessments, project evaluations, and project management.

The EE intern will support Sevea's energy department with a focus on EE-related tasks, including consulting missions, the Energy Efficiency Competition (CEE Comp), and energy audits within the public, commercial and industrial sectors. Responsibilities include conducting audits, analyzing data, implementing projects, researching technologies, and collaborating on energy-efficient solutions for clients.

Profile

ABOUT YOU

Candidates with the following competencies will be preferred (not all criteria need to be met):

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related energy specialization.
  • Proficiency in energy systems, renewable energy, or power engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience or coursework in energy efficiency practices.
  • Strong technical background in electrical systems, energy management, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
  • Knowledge of energy regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with energy auditing and optimization techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret energy data effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for energy analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills in energy-related contexts.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical information.
  • Fluency in English
  • Polyvalent and proactive;
  • Curious, open-minded flexible and able to work in a multicultural environment;
  • Hard-worker, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Rigorous and meticulous mindset;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
