Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop sector strategies to foster disability-inclusive hiring
  • Identify and engage prospective employers to secure interest in disability-inclusive hiring
  • Plan, manage, implement and track employer progress on customised plans for employers to hire PWDs, leveraging initiatives such as the Open Door Programme
  • Work with employers on applications for schemes and grants administered by SG Enable
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate employers’ progress on their hiring and workplace disability inclusion plans, e.g. employer registration, training, internship, job shadowing, workplace accessibility and modifications, career fairs and other employment related activities
  • Provide advice and support to improve employer practices guided by the Enabling Mark framework:
  • Leadership, Culture and Climate
  • Recruitment Practices
  • Workplace Accessibility and Accommodations
  • Employment Practices
  • Community Engagement and Promotion
  • Extent of Inclusive Hiring
  • Develop materials for engagement and disability employment consultancy with employers
  • Maintain accurate engagement records and prepare reports to update management and other stakeholders
  • Support events organised by SG Enable or our partners
  • Undertake other roles as and when required
Profile

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

  • Degree holder in any discipline.
  • Prior work experience in account servicing or client management will be an advantage.
  • Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and versatile to take on other roles when required.
  • Strong time management with the ability to work under tight deadlines and fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous in administrative tasks and resourceful in problem solving.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and partners engagement.
