Description of the mission

Overall Job Responsibility

You will engage and partner employers to enhance the work opportunities available to persons with disabilities. This includes developing and implementing strategies to engage employers to improve their capability and confidence in hiring, integrating and retaining persons with disabilities. You will work closely with employers, persons with disabilities to assess profiles for job referrals, and other stakeholders such as government and social service agencies to facilitate sustainable disability-inclusive hiring and employment practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development/marketing strategies to foster disability-inclusive hiring
  • Cultivate queen bee companies to advocate for disability-inclusive hiring in respective sectors
  • Identify and strategically engage prospective employers across various seniority levels (up to GM or VP levels) to secure interest in disability-inclusive hiring, leveraging initiatives such as the Open Door Programme, schemes and grants administered by SG Enable
  • Plan, manage, implement and track employer progress on customised plans to hire PWDs
  • Provide advice and support to improve employer practices guided by the Enabling Mark framework
  • Develop materials for engagement and disability employment consultancy with employers
  • Maintain accurate engagement records and prepare reports to update management and other stakeholders
  • Support events organised by SG Enable or our partners
  • Undertake other roles as and when required

Profile

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

  • Degree holder in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience; prior work experience in business development or marketing will be an advantage
  • Adept at public speaking and partners engagement
  • Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Meticulous in administrative tasks and resourceful in problem solving
