An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced procurement professional to join an organic food, Bcorp & social enterprise. This is a varied role and should appeal to someone who is flexible, highly detail-oriented and believes in ethical procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Weekly demand planning for B2C orders and growing B2B offer. Adhering to target prices.
- Placing orders with suppliers ensuring appropriate levels of stock to avoid wastage.
- Utilise Google Sheets to prepare timely packing and delivery documents and ensure seamless coordination between packing and shipping teams.
- Manage the packing of boxes by overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring accurate fulfilment of customer orders. Including performing physical activities as necessary to support warehouse operations (lifting, moving boxes, etc.).
- Taking responsibility for the supply chain process including sourcing new suppliers in the region, negotiating price and payment terms.
- Coordinating with Customer Relations Manager to confirm weekly fulfilment numbers and to ensure customers are charged the correct amount through the website (Wordpress).
- Accounts Payable and Receivable and general Bookkeeping duties. Ensuring website orders are coded accurately to the correct GL code.
- Calculate quotations for B2B customers based on customer requirements.
