The Executive, Advocacy Unit, will be part of the team that supports the projects related to child abuse and neglect prevention carried out by the organisation.
Programme/ service development and delivery
Support the team in the various aspects of programme development and implementation, namely:
- KidzLive: I Can Protect Myself child sexual abuse prevention programme for preschoolers
- Empowering Children with Body Safety Skills teachers' training course
- Child protection training modules for early childhood educators
- Other programmes that the organisation deems necessary to develop
Public education and advocacy initiatives
- Synergise and collaborate with sister centres on advocacy and public education initiatives related to the wellbeing of children and youth, as well as parenting
- Plan and organise external and internal events, such as the Singapore Children’s Society Lecture and ForUM
Organisational Service Strategy: CANP
- Contribute towards organisation-wide initiatives under the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention service strategy, including strategy development, implementation and review
Evaluation and monitoring
- Support in establishing outcome measures, indicators, and communications KPIs to track impact and effectiveness of projects
- Support with leveraging data, research insights, and feedback loops to strengthen service models
Partnerships and engagement
- Contribute to partnerships and stakeholder engagement initiatives
Others
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Advocacy Unit
