Job Description
- To support in the Tinkle Friend helpline and chatline to provide support to ensure children’s
- safety and promote well-being.
- To co-develop, design, plan, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and review services to address children’s related concerns (i.e bullying, protective behaviours, resilience, anger management, etc)
- To support in building children’s mental wellness (e.g building resilience, supporting them to regulate their emotions, equipping them with protective behaviours, building their pro-social skills) and other emerging needs (e.g bullying) through programme development and facilitating groupwork and workshops for children.
- Implement individual and group intervention plans and monitor progress
- Review effectiveness of intervention for children, caregiver and/or parents
- Maintain up to date case documentation
- To work collaboratively with child’s support networks-parents, educators and community partners to address the needs
- Conduct risk assessment, safety planning and implement safety plans as appropriate.
- To support identified children-in-risk through casework & counselling
- Broker with agencies and make service referrals, when required
- Work closely with Research Department to develop/refine evaluation tools for group work interventions
