
The Team Lead is responsible for executing and supporting the strategies of all the life support and first aid initiatives. The role entails operational management, team leadership and maintenance of partnerships with external organisations and public agencies to increase the awareness and availability of lifesaving skills as well as improving the responsiveness to medical emergencies, particularly out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA).
The Team Lead will support the HOD and Senior/Director in executing enhanced/new initiatives and maintaining programmes related to enhancing public education on the importance of lifesaving skills, provide greater accessibility to life-saving skills such as Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the usage of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and promote the installation of AEDs.
This role requires an understanding of life support and first aid training, collaborating with stakeholders from external organisations and public agencies and event management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic plans, with directions from Division Director, ensuring alignment with SHF’s broader mission and goals.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including donors, partners, beneficiaries, and regulatory bodies, to align Heart Safe initiatives with national priorities.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations as a team lead, ensuring smooth execution of programmes and initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Lead and guide team members in executing enhanced/new initiatives and maintain current programmes.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality programmes/initiatives.
- Advocate for widespread first aid and life support training across various community segments.
- Promote the availability of AEDs in public spaces and enhance community readiness to respond to cardiac emergencies.
Other Responsibilities
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned to contribute to the overall success of the Heart Safe Department and/or the Foundation.
